I know many of you have asked through emails and phone conversations how the wedding business is going in Chicago. As I suspected, it's going rather slowly. But I expected that and am not discouraged.
I have Rita working on updating the website and looking at our advertising needs in Chicago, while I'm tackling the networking. It's been a blessing that I'm a part of the Association of Bridal Consultants, as I've easily transitioned into the IL Chapter of the organization. It's a great place to start networking and feel my way through the Chicago wedding industry.
So while I work on the business and building up referrals from vendors, I am looking for a Catholic Church where I can not only be a member, but also volunteer my wedding coordinating services. I think that will help keep me in the know of weddings while I start over in Chicago.
