This past weekend was the Guinness Oyster Fest in Roscoe Village - one of the final neighborhood street festivals of the season. I saw this festival on the calendar of events about a month and a half ago and spread the word to my friends in Chicago that this festival SCREAMED my name. Oh, and the headliner at this street festival was Everlast. Are you kidding me? I've been following him since the House of Pain days. Ridiculous!
Anyway, as my coworker and I were sipping Guinness and waiting for Everlast, we decided that the festival should really be renamed the Guinnikki Fest. So I'm going to put my bid in for next year. hahahaha
BTW, had a fabulous time at the Festival and Everlast did not disappoint.
