Universe Turned Upside Down?

Well, when your universe is turned upside-down, what does a girl do to cheer herself up? She takes it back old school and goes to a Madonna concert!

Let's just say...that 50 year-old can steal a show. Not to mention that she's in better shape than most of her 20 year-old dancers. Ridiculous.

Definitely one of my top concerts! She played a lot of new songs, but also brought out some of the good IC tracks. While the gospel choir was missing, 'Like A Prayer' was the BEST song of the night and actually gave me goose bumps. Sounds corny, but it was a spiritual moment.

If your universe is off its rocker, just find your peace.

Recession...now slight Depression

I didn't get a chance to blog last weekend as I was working (boooooo), but yes, a slight depression has hit north Chicago. Last Saturday the Cubs failed to show up to play baseball and lost their chance for a miracle season. The whole series against the Dodgers was not pretty and not at all how the Cubs played their regular season.
At any rate, the mood will start to lift here and before we know it Opening Day will be here again.
